I ask that your minds may be opened to see His light, so that you will know what is the hope to which he has called you … and how very great is his power at work in us who believe. This power working in us is the same as the mighty strength which he used when he raised Christ from the death …” Ephesians 1 : 18 - 19

The world now has seven billion people to look after. Most of that seven billion people are poor and oppressed. Many of these people are young and don’t have a future because they are unemployed, hungry and desperate. One day these unemployed poor young people will take matters in their own hands and will start an economic revolution. They will kill the rich and take the money of big corporations. The same scenario that happened in the Arab world will happen again. The Gaddafi’s of the future will be the extremely rich and powerful individuals who run the economic world. It will also be the selfish shareholders who cannot get enough riches and are constantly busy to accumulate more! Those are the ones that will be targeted in future.

A future world hit by such a devastating uprising will be paralyzed and reduced to chaos. Love and compassion will be wiped of the face of the earth and everyone will just fight for survival. More than half of the world population will be wiped out!

Many of us won’t be there the see or experience this mother of all revolutions! Our grandchildren however, will experience it, which will be well into the 22^nd century.

We, the current generation, however have the ability to make things different. We can create a better future for our children! It is possible for us to change the world today!

A thousand mile journey starts with one step, that step is just to understand that we have the power to do it. How we are going to do it is a different story. The detail needs to be worked out by futurists and skilled scientists unfortunately we are not there yet!

However we can start with ourselves to create a moral regeneration, to build a new mindset of love and caring! It is possible for us to turn the world around, today! Spiritual God loving people can make the difference.

The power that is within us is a regenerating and life giving power. It is a power of hope and energy. It is the sort of power we need in the world.

The self is boundless and measureless meaning we cannot comprehend what we have available to change the world and avert a huge crises.

We have the wisdom to change things; we are able to find the answer. Human beings are brilliant they are related to God who created the universe. With all these good genes and abilities we can figure out how the address global problems and challenges. The only thing that works against solutions is scared politicians and selfish rich industrialists and business people. They are scared they are going to lose their jobs and fat salaries. They won’t be able to hope for fat bonuses and golden handshakes anymore. They are scared like small mice crawling in their dirty holes.

In us God created hope and confidence that things can and will change and a concrete proof of a wonderful inheritance as well. Through faith in God and all His power we know and are sure that there will be success in our efforts. Our efforts to change the world wouldn’t be in vain

It is also clear from the letter to the Ephesians that Paul wrote to Christians in the first century, that the same power God used to raise Christ out of the dead is in us. We thus have the power and energy to do it. We can make a difference!

Lastly and most important there is somebody in charge of all this effort, God! He is not scared at all; he will lose no bonuses and golden handshakes He doesn’t even care about them! God through Jesus Christ will lead the way to a better safer and nurturing world!

All can start with us, the power and energy we have is a life giving regenerating force, we can create life and hope out of death and destruction!

But let there be no scales to weigh your unknown treasure

And seek not the depths of your knowledge

with staff or measuring-rod

For self is a sea boundless and measureless
